This terrific compilation CD has been produced by Bryan Wright of Rivermont Records and Alex Hassan, a Falls Church, Virginia-based pianist who is perhaps the world's foremost expert on the Novelty Piano era of the early Twentieth Century,  Included in it are two lovely medleys from the 1938 Broadway Rodgers and Hart musical comedy play, "I Married An Angel".These medleys were performed by Cy Walter and Gil Bowers and were released on Liberty Music Shop 78-rpm discs.  These two Liberty Music Shop cuts were not included in the Shellwood CD, "Cy Walter:  The Park Avenue Tatum", and so it is a pleasure that they are now commercially available on this "Two Grands, Four Hands" CD.  Also included are performances by eleven other terrific duo piano teams of the Novelty Piano era, all of  which are sure to delight!  The "Two Grands, Four Hands" CD is available through the Rivermont Records website.
