Vincent - November 29, 1939 Johnny - April 25, 1950 Harry - June 11, 1950 Sherman Fairchild - September 28, 1950 Sherman Fairchild was part of Fairchild Industries, an aeronautical concern. Janet Reis - September 3, 1952 Sherman Fairchild - December 3, 1952 Unsigned - February 13, 1953 Daphne and Cy - September 16, 1953 "Daphne and Cy", in this instance, refer to friends from Rhode Island, who coincidentally also bore Cy's and Cy's youngest daughter's names. "Clabber the Cape" is a reference to Cy's then performing in Cape Cod. Agnes - June 20, 1954 Cam's Mother - June 20, 1954 Eadie and Rack - June 20, 1954 Eadie and Rack were a duo piano team. Carl and Helen Kress - June 20, 1954 Carl Kress was a famous guitarist of the period. The telegram that he and his wife, Helen, sent Cy and Cam referred to the latters' wedding! Pat and Madge O'Malley - June 20, 1954 Pat O'Malley was an English actor, and Madge, his wife. These telegrams were sent on the occasion of Cy and Cam's wedding. George Shearing - June 20, 1954 Sherman Fairchild - June 21, 1954 John and Chilton - July 6, 1954 "John" here refers to Johnny Greenleaf; "Chilt" to Chilton Ryan, both close friends of Cy's and Cam's (Chilton was also a lyricist with Cy on some of his compositions). This telegram was sent to Cy and Cam while they were on their honeymoon in Colorado. Bart and Kathleen Howard - November 13, 1955 Florence ("Flossie") Walter - November 13, 1955 Hilda Coppage - November 18, 1955 Hilda Coppage, who ran the Poppinessett Inn on Cape Cod, sent this telegram to congratulate Cy and Cam on the birth of their first child, Victoria.
Ann and Bill Cullen - December 31, 1963 Bill Cullen was a prominent television star. Herbert Jacoby - September 21, 1964 Herbert Jacoby ran The Blue Angel, a popular New York City nightclub. The occasion was the return of Cy to the Drake Room. Hubbell Pierce - September 21, 1964 Hubbell Pierce was a close friend and a fellow New York City‑based pianist and musician. The occasion for this telegram was the return of Cy to the Drake Room. Forrest Perrin - September 21, 1964 Forrest Perrin was a close friend and a fellow New York City‑based pianist and musician. The occasion was the return of Cy to the Drake Room. The handwritten notations at the bottom of the telegram are Cy's.
